Peas and Tales, Inc. donates 500 books to the children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . . .
This summer, Gloria and daughter Monica (Swee'pea) visited St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. They met with Vilma Carnahan, Director of Non-Monetary Donations for the organization, for the purpose of giving a gift of 500 copies of her Swee'pea Tales Treasury and companion Swee'pea Tales Activity books to the children. "I want to put my stories and characters in the hands of any child who is having a struggle in life. It gives me a deep joy to be able to give my books to these children and put a smile on their faces or make them giggle," says Ms. Behrle. Vilma Carnahan graciously accepted this gift and expressed her delight, "This is such a sweet book. The children are going to love it!"
